Birmingham is bursting with 19C resources. Why not visit some while you’re in town?

UoB campus is home to a number of museums, including the Arts & Crafts Winterbourne House and Garden, the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, and the Lapworth Museum of Geology.

Birmingham Back to Backs. National Trust museum featuring the last surviving court of back-to-back homes in the city. Booked tours only.

Black Country Museum. Open-air living museum featuring a working 19C vilalge. Peaky Blinders shoots here!

CoffinWorks. A historic factory in the Jewellery Quarter that produced fittings for the coffins for some of England’s most famous.

Also in the Jewellery Quarter is the Pen Museum, showcasing the working conditions of the 19C pen trade.
