Panel Timings: On panels of 2 or 3 speakers, please keep your talks to 20 minutes to allow for discussion. On panels of 4 speakers, talks should be 15 minutes.
Tech info: All rooms for panels are equipped with a projector and desktop computer. If you are presenting and have a powerpoint or other presentation, you can bring it on a USB drive to upload to the desktop in the room. You may also connect your own laptop to the projector; the connection is via HDMI cable, so if your computer does not have a HDMI port, please bring the appropriate adaptor or dongle. All rooms are wired for sound, whether using the desktop or your own laptop.
Panel locations: All panels are held in the Teaching and Learning Building at the University of Birmingham Edgbaston campus. This is around a 15-minute walk from the Chamberlain accommodation and from the University train station.
Quiet rooms are on the ground floor of the Teaching and Learning Building.
Nursing/pumping room: Arts 152 can be used for nursing/pumping. There is a comfortable sofa and a refrigerator in the office. Please contact anyone at the registration desk (Lower Ground level, Teaching & Learning Building) for the key.
